UPDATE 18/08/23
Dear all,
As you will be aware strong weather warnings have been advised for tomorrow in Dumfries so it is with deep sadness that we have had to take the very difficult decision to postpone tomorrow’s Dumfries International Street Food Festival until further notice.
While we know this is disappointing, our first priority is keeping our festival go-ers and volunteers safe. We hope you understand this is the right step to take.
We will update you with a new date as soon as we can but we are heartbroken, especially as there is so much work that goes on behind the scenes here at DISF Fest.
Thank you for your understanding,
With love
Team DISF Fest

Taking place on the 19th August 2023, the 2nd Dumfries International Street Food Festival will be an even bigger celebration of diverse food, drink and culture putting Dumfries on the Scottish Street Food Map.
Now an independent entity Dumfries International Street Food Festival is offering community groups or individuals help with training, certification and equipment while ensuring an even better environment for commercial sellers!
Now, in 2023 DISFFEST is launching as an independent entity!
The family friendly festival aims to showcase both local and international produce and flavours, as well as educating and promoting sustainable, environmentally-friendly food.
DISFFEST is a street food festival with a difference as it is not just about food, but about bringing people together, community integration and celebration!
We want people to find new flavours, experience new music, make new friends and rejoice in the richness and diversity of our community. As ever, we are looking forward to helping a wide range of community groups express their cultures and showcase their amazing talents.
DISFFEST #1 was a dream in action and now we want to make DISFFEST an annual chance to celebrate the richness of our diverse culture.
We’re looking forward to welcoming people to Dock Park, Dumfries again. There will be a range of opportunities for local businesses and community organisations to get involved.
